一、 蛭石的性质与结构
蛭石是一种层状结构的含镁的水铝硅酸盐次生变质矿物，原矿外似云母，通常由黑（金）云母经热液蚀变作用或风化而成，因其受热失水膨胀时呈挠曲状，形态酷似水蛭，故称蛭石。
蛭石的化学式为M g × (H2O)[Mg3 × (AlSiO3O10)(H2O)]

蛭石按阶段性划分为蛭石原矿和膨胀蛭石，按颜色分类可分为金黄色蛭石、银白色蛭石、乳白色蛭石。
蛭石原矿经过高温焙烧其体积可迅速膨胀8-20倍，膨胀后的比重130-180kg/m3，具有很强的保温隔热性能。
